Amy Van Dyken-Rouen has arrived in Colorado after being airlifted from an Arizona hospital to Craig Hospital in Denver. Craig Hospital specializes in the rehabilitation of spinal cord- and brain-related injuries.
Van Dyken-Rouen graduated from Cherry Creek High School before going on to become a six-time gold medal-winning Olympian. She has been hospitalized since severing her spine in an all-terrain vehicle accident on Friday, June 6.
Van Dyken-Rouen spoke publicly today for the first time since her accident:
